CURRUMBIN:
"At Hype, we believe in recognising our incredible members for their efforts and making them feel appreciated. For the month of October we are doing something different and showing our support behind one of our amazing members who is going through a tough battle right now with only recently being diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
For those of you that know Shaz she loves her Group Fitness classes especially her
Body Combat classes. Shaz is so well loved at the gym has made some amazing friends with members and our team, we are all like family.
Sharon you are going through a rough patch, we know the next few months you are in for a fight and we just want you to know: you are not alone. You deserve all the support in the world. Lean on us — you don’t have to be “strong” all the time to be brave. Just being here, still fighting, still hoping — that’s strength beyond words.
We’ve got you. Always.
Stay strong you’ve got a whole team around you.
Love your Hype fam 🩷"
PIMPAMA:
At Hype, we believe in recognising our incredible members for their efforts and making them feel appreciated. Our October member of the month goes to Michael!
Michael is a day one and his fitness journey started with us in 2022. For those of you who have never met Mick, he is one humble, genuine and kind guy. It’s hard to catch him due to his determination to get his workout done and dusted. Despite this, Michael will always take the time to greet the staff, stop in and even have a chat.
He has great knowledge and advice on training and will always be down to give you a hand out on the gym floor. We really appreciate his passion for training, putting the work in and establishing some goals to pursue.
Thanks Mick for accepting the award and we are here to support you on your journey toward your pro card! What an amazing and exciting goal.

"I’m 43, I’m an electrician and a family man, I have struggled a lot with mental battles and the gym is my outlet keeping fit is the life goal.
I found Hype when I moved to Pimpama from Canberra and the atmosphere in Hype is awesome I love the fact I come to Hype and can just train and go and it’s not a massive gym that there’s no room to move.
I train at least 5 days a week I try really hard to come 7 days but it’s hard with work and family.
My goals this year is to get prepped for fmg worlds for next year as I want to try win a pro card status.
I love training at Hype cause it’s super chilled and friendly and staff is absolutely amazing and I’m not just saying that I truly have never been in a gym with such great staff and atmosphere.
I just love training at Hype and I’m super loyal and the only way I would stop training at Hype would be if I relocate. I will train here for as long as I live lol.
Thank you to all the Hype team for just having a gym to train at.
Cheers Mick"
