CURRUMBIN:

At Hype, we believe in recognising our incredible members for their efforts and making them feel appreciated. Our July Member of the Month goes to Sarah.

Sarah has been a member here with us at Hype for over 2 years now. You will see Sarah come in with her two beautiful children indie and Charli-Rose as well as hubby Ben.

Sarah will train at Hype 4-5 times per week with her training schedule consisting of Kettlebell & strength work with added cardio. Sarah trained throughout her pregnancy and returned after birtth to work on her post baby strength, improve her conditioning and to challenge herself with her performance based goals, lifting heavier and having more advanced Kettlebell flows.

Sarah- "Im a mum of two girls and I juggle between parenting, running my own holistic health business and staying consistent with my training. I try to train 4-5 times per week dependig on how the week flows and juggling solo parenting during FIFO swings, I always feel better after showing up and moving. I love Hype its an uplifting and supportive community. the creche girls are amazing, me and the girls would be lost without them-Especially Deb and Poppy Matt. It honestly feels like family here, knowing my girls are so loved and cared for means I can train with piece of mind. I feel super grateful to be part of the Hype fam."

PIMPAMA:

At Hype, we believe in recognising our incredible members for their efforts and making them feel appreciated. Our July member of the month goes to Michael!

Michael has been training at Hype for over 18 months now. Watching him over this time has been truly inspiring. As Michael states below he suffers with a brain injury. He visits the gym Mon-Fri with his regular carers. What stands out about Michael is his connection with all of his carers and the positive energy he brings into the club.

We absolutely love that the carers are also really comitted to his fitness journey and support him constantly by showing up and even training alongside him at times. We value these close connections which help Michael better his strength and agility dispite his limitations. He’s always ready for a laugh and we can see his motivation through his consistant training sessions.

Thank you for being a great example of showing up every time and keeping a big smile on your face. Keep up the amazing training sessions, smashing your goals and continuing your fitness journey with us.

Michael- "Hi my name is Michael, and I love training at Hype! I was in involved in a hit and run in 2022; it caused a brain injury which limits my physical and speech ability.

I joined the gym at the end of 2024 because I recently moved into the area. I enjoy mixing up my days with both strength and cardio sessions and always try my best to attend Hype Gym every day.

My biggest goal is to get as strong and fit as possible, never let my disability affect my journey. I love Hype because of the sense of community there! The staff are always so friendly and always greet me with a smile every time I enter the doors.

I hope to get to meet more of the wonderful m embers at Hype, if you see me around, please stop and say Hello."
